whilE in MOROCCO we will have two gorgeous styled shoots to add to your destination portfolio. one couple portraits and one elopement STYLE SESSION. YOU MAY CHOOSE TO SHOOT PHOTO AND/OR VIDEO AT BOTH OF THE STYLED SHOOTS.

ITINERARY

9 days of learning and adventure planned from beginning to end for you. just show up.

JUL 22

arrival day. fly into tangier noon or later (airport code: tng) and settle into our FUN AND unique ACCOMMODATION. i will be checking people in all day, so you will have time to walk around the CITY, EXPLORE THE KASBAH MEDINA, EAT AT YOUR FIRST TRADITIONAL SOUK, and relax from your flightS. welcome dinner the first night with the new group to get to know each other and make friends with new faces.

JUL 23

AKCHOUR WATERFALL day. BUS TO CHEFCHAOUEN, HEAD TO THE GORGEOUS Akchour Waterfalls, HIKE TO THE LOWER OR UPPER FALLS, AND ENJOY A REFRESHING SWIM UNDER THE SAHARA SUN. AFTER WE FINISH AT THE FALLS YOU WILL HAVE TIME TO EXPLORE THE MAZE OF BLUE CITY STREETS WHILE I HOLD 1-ON-1 COACHING SESSIONS WITH EACH ATTENDEE.

JUL 24

chefchaouen “THE CITY OF BLUE” day. WE will START THE DAY WITH a HANDS ON LIGHTING & COMPOSITION WORKSHOP DURING OUR FIRST STYLED SHOOT IN THE BLUE STREETS OF CHEFCHAOUEN. YOU WILL HAVE TIME ALONE AND WITH THE GROUP TO SHOOT OUR COUPLE. GET READY... YOUR PHOTOS and VIDEO WILL BLOW YOU AWAY. after we finish, discover more of the city by visiting the blue pearl, and if you are up for the adventure rent a moped and see the surrounding areas. fly to casablanca late that night. (airfare covered by retreat cost)

JUL 25

Hassan II MOSQUE (CASABLANCA) day. sleep in and enjoy a relaxing morning after our late night flight. the Hassan II mosque is one of the most BEAUTIFUL buildings in the world and you will have all day to experience, tour, and take photos in it. we will finish the day with the shooting workshop and our second PORTFOLIO building elopement styled shoot at the HASSAN II mosque.

JUL 26

Atlas Mountains and OUARZAZATE day. morning train to marrakech and head into the Atlas Mountains. we will explore the ancient and scenic city of ouarzazate stopping at some of the most stunning landscapes in the planet. continue on to see the cities and areas of dedes valley and El Kelaa M'gouna (the city of roses). we will have the editing workshop once back at our ACCOMMODATION in the gorges de MOROCCO.

JUL 27

CAMEL CARAVAN TO SAHARA DAY. head to the todras gorge in the morning and then eat lunch in merzouga (aka. the gateway to the sahara). at this point we will leave the cars behind and hop onto our camels which will take us out to the bivouac we will be staying at for the night in the middle of the Sahara Desert. enjoy TRADITIONAL moroccan dishes and a beautiful view of the galaxy from our berber style camp.

JUL 28

dune buggy adventure DAY. wake up to a spectacular sunrise in the Sahara Desert and finish our camel caravan in merzouga. we will dune buggy and atv on and around the sahara dunes as a group then head to marrakech. check in to our TRADITIONAL moroccan riad ACCOMMODATION after a long day of adventuring and fun.

JUL 29

MARRAKECH spa/HAMMAM day. a full day dedicated to relaxation and enjoying the culture of marrakech. traditional hammam and massage experience to prepare your body and mind for the flight home. after our spa EXPERIENCE we will have the marketing workshop and enjoy drinks, swim at the pool, and walk the moroccan souks one more time. final group dinner on our final night to wrap up the retreat.

JUL 30

departure day. farewell breakfast, photo/video exchange, and saying goodbyes. depart from marrakech one by one depending on the time you booked your flight home.
