Antelope Island Engagements

Near freezing temperature. 40+ MPH winds. Gorgeous couple. Amazing location. Sounds like my kind of engagements.

This was my first time going to Antelope Island and it was gorgeous! The scenery, wildlife, and agriculture is all so simplistic and beautiful. Madeline’s dress and hair made for the perfect wind blown photos.

I am not joking when I say we had to run to the car at least 10 times throughout this session so none of us froze! We knew we had to take a break when my fingers got so cold that I couldn’t even press my camera’s shutter button. Madeline and Kendall were shivering the whole time, but we pretended we were in the Bahamas in June and made some amazing memories.

On the way off the island I saw the view in the last photo and knew that we had to stop. All three of our eyes’ were watering from the cold, but they humored me and 5 minutes later we had my favorite shot from their whole session. I am so thankful for the ability to create art!

These two are getting married in Washington this December, and I can not wait to share their formals and wedding day with you!

*tip for fellow photographers Once you enter the island: Turn left to shoot in the expansive fields. Turn right to shoot at the rock formations.
