You would never know from their photos, but Morgan arrived to her formals session at McPolin Farm after sunset when it was almost pitch dark due to some crazy circumstances. One year ago I would have been horrified by this, but after this summer’s wedding season I felt confident I could make it work, and make it work I did! Most sessions would have finished by the time we were getting started, but I would not have had it any other way. Shooting in the dark was challenging to say the least, but the photos turned out perfect with a film-like grain and quality.
The outfits and location that these two decided on for their first look and formals is one I will be raving about for months. I love the simplicity that architecture lends to photography, and this barn is a gorgeous example of that.
We decided to head into town as well to finish off their session with a little more light. Morgan was raised in Park City, and coming back here for her formals was such a treat.
These two are getting hitched on November 3 at The Vista and I can not wait to shoot with them again!
