Sarah and Ryan’s New Year’s Eve wedding was pure magic! We started the day on the freezing cold mountain tops of Park City where it was -14 degrees after windchill and I was DEFINITELY not prepared for it to be that cold! Thankfully, their family and friends had all packed extra furs, so I was able to survive it. I was covered in all cheetah print though… and it was amazing.
I know I’m in for an amazing time when a bride shows up to her session in Chacos and “finger guns” her man during their first look. These two could not be more perfect. Aaron and Madeline spend a majority of their time in nature hiking with their two dogs, Noodle and Buddy, so obviously we had to include them in their session to keep the family together.
Julia and Jared are two of the most beautiful and stylish people, inside and out, I have ever had the pleasure to photograph. They are the epitome of a “city couple'“ and we made sure that their engagement photos matched that piece of their personalities.
Sarah and Ryan are from Texas originally, but held their wedding celebration in Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah, where they live currently. They wanted their wedding day portraits to represent them as a couple and show important locations of their relationship, so we went around the city to places that held defining moments in their time together.
I can’t help it that Buddy & Calli are the real life Ken & Barbie. I am in love with every single shot from this session. The Little Sahara Desert is the perfect location for stunning editorial style formals. On the drive down it looked like we might need to turn around because of the rain clouds, but when we arrived the weather favored us and the drama that the clouds add to these photos is breathtaking.
Dreaming of being in New York City this week, so I decided to finally share these chic and luxurious engagements. Aubrey is a photographer, and it means so much that she trusts me to capture her entire wedding collection. I already can’t wait for her green house bridals that we have planned for April!
